The South Carolina Association of the Deaf (SCAD) is pleased to announce the launch of its new and improved website. The website, located at www.scadservices.org, was designed with the support of DuBose Web Group.
Technology in our society is rapidly advancing and radically changing the way businesses must market their services or products. SCAD needed a new website to catch up in the world of technology. This website offers many of the same great features as the previous site; however, SCAD, in conjunction with DuBose Web Group, has made a more user-friendly layout as well as given it an updated look. The new website is cost efficient with the web content management tools developed by DuBose Web Group; we can now make updates to it ourselves.
The new website with new graphics and design is an excellent public relations tool for SCAD. DuBose Web Group is the choice we made for our web development because they were able to meet our needs and able to work out with us in friendly manner. They are a proven successful web business located in Columbia and set up many features like uploaded videos to view all of the latest news, SCAD E-Newsletter, Resources, Photo Gallery and a shopping cart where people are able to sign up or renew their membership online through PayPal, buy SCAD merchandise (e.g., coffee mugs, cookbooks etc.), and/or make cash donations online.
Our website will help all members in the Deaf community stay informed about all of the SCAD functions for everyone to network and work towards accomplishing our mission.
SCAD is a non-profit organization committed to assisting the Deaf citizens of South Carolina. SCAD is committed to providing advocacy and equal access in communication, education and for all persons in South Carolina who are Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing. If you have any questions about our organization or its services, please find our contact information on the website.
