Marketing Coordinator

The Position: The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for the successful management and implementation of digital strategies for our clients. This role requires an innovator, a trendsetter, and a progressive thinker who can digitally connect all other aspects of a client’s business to drive growth opportunities. We are looking for an experienced professional who will add to our unique, caring company culture; one who will thrive when faced with challenges, communicates effectively, strives to meet realistic deadlines, and executes efficiently. 


Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Collaborating with the Digital Strategist to set quarterly digital marketing plans for key partners
  • Assisting with the content planning and creation process for social media, email newsletters, blogs and other digital marketing campaigns
  • Monitoring social media accounts for key partners and identifying opportunities for engagement 
  • Keeping abreast of the latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Working with the Interactive Designer to upload or input copy for website updates, blogs and email newsletters
  • Scheduling social media content and email newsletters 
  • Execute SEO updates to the website as needed
  • Intake new support requests for current maintenance partners and coordinate bug fixes, feature enhancements, and questions with team members


Requirements Include:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in digital marketing
  • Strong knowledge of the largest social media platforms and best practices for each
  • Understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) web traffic metrics
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills, multitasking capabilities, and attention to detail
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to nurture and retain client relationships
  • Post-secondary education in marketing, digital media, a related field, or a suitable combination of education and experience

 

The following would be viewed as additional assets: 

  • Experience with audience and buyer persona research
  • Familiarity with popular website content management systems (i.e. WordPress, ExpressionEngine)
  • Experience with Hubspot and Mailchimp
  • High level understanding of SEO best practices
  • Prior experience working remotely
  • Understanding of digital marketing KPIs and best practices
