Social Media Specialist (Contractor)

We are seeking to contract an ambitious, organized, proactive, and reliable Social Media Specialist to work alongside our remote team. The successful candidate will be an outstanding, positive professional who fits our unique, caring company culture. He or she will thrive when faced with challenges, excel in a fast-paced work environment, execute projects quickly and efficiently, and take a lead role when assigned projects.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Can dedicate 10-20 hours per week
• Has a minimum of two (2) years of relevant professional experience in social media management, marketing, and digital strategies
• Will be responsible for working with a variety of clients (including DuBose) to provide top-notch social media deliverables that integrate with their overall marketing strategy.
• Can develop social media strategies, including but not limited to promotions and contests, influencer marketing campaigns (bonus), social media audits, and paid social campaigns
• Build and maintain a fluid, social media content calendar (including upcoming promotions, events, holidays, etc.)
• Can design or work with a designer to coordinate social graphics, write content, schedule posts, and report on overall performance
• Be accountable for project timelines and the quality of client deliverables
• Encourage greater social media participation amongst our team, customers, and prospects
• Identify any additional advertising needs, recommend budget levels and channel strategy
• Report on all social media marketing efforts and provide recommendations on how to optimize performance based on user data to expand brand awareness, increase user engagement, and drive conversions (i.e. analytics and insights)
• Identify necessary digital marketing tools, potential services, and emerging trends with the mindset to create new opportunities for growth
• Multi-task and collaborate with team members to accomplish strategic initiatives
• Bonus: Identify and build relationships with online influencers; maintain a log of influencer communications, organize partnerships, and report on the success of active influencer partnerships

Ideally, our new team member will also:

• Be eager to contribute to an awesome work culture and be part of a warm, close-knit, and supportive team environment
• Have experience with developing creative and targeted messaging for a variety of consumer audiences
• Work closely with team members and contractors to understand responsibilities, identify issues, and communicate priorities
• Have exceptional organizational skills, multitasking capabilities, and attention to detail
• Have great interpersonal and communication skills
• Be comfortable working within a team environment as well as independently
