About SEFA:
Since 1976, Southeastern Fly Ash Company (SEFA) has leveraged the latest in innovative technology to turn coal combustion residuals into environmentally sustainable products for concrete production. Over the past four decades, SEFA has recycled more than 20 million tons of fly ash from communities throughout the Southeast. With a focus on integrity, service, and excellence, and accountability, SEFA proudly supports a number of community organizations and charities.
The DuBose Web Approach
DuBose Web was tasked with designing and developing a new website for SEFA. During the strategy and site mapping phase, we worked with SEFA to gain a deeper understanding of their business’s internal structure, brand, and unique value proposition. In designing their new website, we wanted to communicate both their technical expertise as well as their commitment to safety and environmental stewardship in local communities.
All of this culminated in a UX-focused design approach. Site visitors are now presented with a clean, bright, modern aesthetic complete with navigation options that clearly communicate the ‘why’ and ‘how’ of doing business with SEFA. The new site is informative, well organized, and easy to use.

By providing SEFA with ongoing website support and maintenance services, we’ve helped to ensure that their site is free of technical issues and running optimally. We periodically meet with SEFA to discuss site updates, working alongside key team members to bring new ideas to life, update site formatting, and add content as needed.
