9 Best Playlists To Listen To At Work (At Least We Think So)
Everyone loves a little music to fill the silence around the office. Our tastes at DuBose change and evolve depending on which office you’re in and what mood the office is feeling that day. Whether it’s upbeat, nostalgic tunes or some smooth jazz in the background, we love our tunes, and we know you will as well!
Cinematic Music For Studying and Motivation
Soundtracks from all the latest movies are added to this playlist frequently and they include beautiful ballads and conflict arrangements that have no lyrics and put you into the right frame of mind when working. We sometimes even like to guess what movie the songs are from, it’s like our own little fun game!
Instrumental Hip Hop
Much like the previous station, this Pandora station has the hip-hop beat and music without the lyrical hype.
This playlist includes music from Bob Marley, Jimmy Cliff, Toots & the Maytals along with many more. Reggae music is great for a boost of positivity when you’re trying to get work done on a deadline, and things are a little crazy. Our team even has Reggae Fridays when we need time to chill and relax after a long productive week.
Chill Out Radio
This station is perfect for a stressful, busy day to help us breathe and take it one task at a time. The sounds are soothing and exactly what you need the day gets to us. If you’re in the need of some easy listening to help you focus on your tasks, look no further.
Today’s Top Hits
Today’s Top Hits is a great one if you’re looking for something you can mindlessly play in the background. It’s familiar enough for you (and the rest of the office!) to hum along and enjoy the music, with the added bonus of being easily tuned out so you can get to work.
Hip Hop & Jazz Instrumentals
This station has songs with a nice jazz element as well as a funky little beat at the same time. It’s upbeat and smooth for when you feel like going with the flow, but still need those positive energy vibes.
Four80East Radio Station on Pandora (aka Weather Channel Land)
“Four80East is an electro-jazz collective that’s all about the groove.” Includes mainly instrumental smooth jazz that is good when working on tasks. Amanda says, “There are no distracting lyrics, the music is awesome, and I can focus better.”
All Out 90’s
Ready for some nostalgia? This channel is great for when you need a good throwback to reminisce and get in a good mood. This playlist includes The Goo Goo Dolls, Aerosmith, Backstreet Boys, TLC, Spice Girls, Nirvana, and more.
Mumford & Sons Radio
This band has a folk rock vibe with some blue grass mixed in that is great when you need happy, sobering music that isn’t too upbeat or overwhelming. If you have never heard of this band, you should take a listen - they are one of our favorites!
